Two tools for working out where you stand
Both are self-assessments rather than technical inspections, and both state their limits. They will not tell you whether an AI system will cite your business, because nothing can. What they will do is show you which area is weakest and roughly what fixing it costs.
Five questions, one honest score
AI Search Readiness Score
Score how ready your website is to be found, understood and cited by AI search across the five areas an AI SEO audit examines: entity consistency, crawler access, structured data, content depth and corroboration.
What it asks
- How consistent your business facts are across every public surface
- Whether AI crawlers can reach and render your site
- What structured data your site publishes, and whether it validates
- Whether your content answers comparison, cost and decision-stage questions
- How well independent sources corroborate your business
Indicative self-assessment only. It reflects your own answers rather than a technical inspection of your site, and it does not predict whether any AI system will cite your business.
A range, not a quote
AI SEO Investment Estimator
Estimate an indicative monthly and first-year AI SEO investment range based on your site size, how competitive your category is, what condition the site is in, and how many AI surfaces you want covered.
What it asks
- Roughly how many pages your website has
- How competitive your category is
- What condition the site is in today
- How many AI surfaces you want covered
Indicative ranges in AUD excluding GST, based on published starting rates. Actual pricing is quoted after reviewing your site, competition and requirements. No outcome or ranking is implied or guaranteed.
Why these exist
Useful enough to be worth citing
The factsheet standard for this practice is original, genuinely useful resources rather than lead-capture forms wearing a calculator costume. These two qualify because they are honest about what they cannot tell you.
A readiness score is a self-assessment. It reflects your answers, not an inspection of your site, so a business that overestimates its structured-data coverage will score higher than it should. Used honestly, it points at the weakest of the five areas, which is usually the right place to start.
An investment estimate is a range built from published starting rates and four multipliers. It is not a quote, and the gap between the two is real: site condition alone can move the figure by 40 percent in either direction. Treat it as a budgeting sanity check before a conversation rather than as a number to hold anyone to.
If you want the underlying reasoning, the guide library covers the same ground in detail, including what AI SEO actually costs in Australia.
Next step
A tool is a starting point, not a diagnosis
A free consultation covers what a self-assessment cannot: how your site actually renders to crawlers, what independent sources say about you, and which of the ten layers is genuinely holding you back.
